The Cafes and Restaurant Industry Review has been completed.  A copy of the report is available here.

One of the actions arising from the Review was the production of a "Starting a Restaurant/Cafe/Take-away Business - A Step-by-Step Guide" and a copy is available here.

	The review process involved :
	Meetings with Restaurant and Catering South Australia and the Australian Hotels Association. Both organisations made a formal submission.
	The Liquor Hospitality & Miscellaneous Workers Unions and the Shop Distributive & Allied Employees Association were engaged in the review process.
	The Local Government Association was engaged in the review process.
	Other relevant Government Departments were also engaged in the review process including: SafeWork SA; Department of Health and the Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner.
	Fourteen businesses were interviewed on a one-on-one basis about how South Australia can become more competitive and where red tape could or should be reduced.
